We have a holistic model of healing which addresses the emotional, physical (both energetic and biochemical) and spiritual aspects of your well-being.

Psychotherapy

As Socrates once said, “A life unexamined, is not a life worth living.” Individuals come to therapy to change their lives.  Our emotions, whether we are conscious of them or not, impact every aspect of our life. Working with a psychologist provides you with the opportunity to get to know who you authentically to help foster personal growth.

  • Individual Therapy is conducted in a comfortable and nurturing environment with the goal of promoting positive changes in one’s life. It is beneficial in identifying and changing thoughts, feelings and patterns of behavior that are maladaptive. Some of the conditions treated include depression, anxiety, mood disorders, Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), eating disorders, sexual disorders and many others. Most major insurances accepted.
  • Couples Therapy helps couples identify and resolve conflict and improves communication and  the relationship.  It can help you make thoughtful decisions regarding enhancing the relationship or going your separate ways.
  • Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) is a mind-body technique that helps find stuck, negatively charged emotions stored in the body and helps release them. NET can help identify unresolved past events and helps your body release the emotional charge.
  • Hypnotherapy is a highly effective method for modifying a person's behavior, emotional content, attitude, unwanted habits, anxiety pain and other physical issues.  Hypnosis is one of the most effective ways to access the subconscious mind to create real change.
  • Brainspotting (BSP) identifies and stimulates any blockages, emotional/body pain, trauma, and other deep seated memories, while resourcing with the inner unconditional love that is sourced from your midbrain. BSP can also uncover seemingly ‘harmless’ memories and conditioning that remain as unaddressed blocks within our bodies.

Assessments

Start with an assessment to determine the baseline of your health with the BioScan assessment and functional blood chemistry analysis.

  • BioScan testing is a great measurement of your overall health. It has the capacity to assess the energy meridians of the body and determine the functionality of your organs and tissue.  This non-invasive  state of the art assessment designed to measure over 50 specific organs and body systems.  Based on the results, it will generate a customized supplemental protocol for your unique body to bring the body back into balance.
  • Functional Medicine Assessments identifies nutritionally significant information in the healthy range of your blood work or the functional range.  It is able to detect patterns which have nutritional significance, such as deficiencies and excesses of nutrients, electrolyte and mineral imbalances.  Once can optimize metabolic processes and help maintain the optimal performance of the body which is is done through this universally accepted blood work which includes glucose, cholesterol, thyroid and more. Nutritional imbalances may cause reduced functionality, reduced energy and vitality and other symptoms.
  • Other panels such as neurotransmitter testing, gastrointestinal panel, female and male hormone panels, complete thyroid panel and heavy metal testing.

Alternative Health Care Services

  • Acupuncture is based in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Acupuncture helps boost the body's own healing abilities and can be used to treat a wide variety of conditions. It works by correcting the imbalances in the flow of qi energy and allowing the energy to flow freely.  Acupuncture can help treat even emotional conditions by opening the channels of energy or meridians and allowing emotions to flow more freely and bring them to a balances state.  Acupuncture is able to influence health and sickness by stimulating meridians with the goal of putting your body into a state of balance that allows itself to heal.
  • Chiropractic is a complementary and alternative medicine health care profession concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disorders of the neuromusculoskeletal system and the effects of these disorders on general health. Doctors of Chiropractic practice a drug-free, hands-on approach to health care that includes patient examination, diagnosis and treatment. Chiropractors have broad diagnostic skills and are also trained to recommend therapeutic and rehabilitative exercises, as well as to provide nutritional, dietary and lifestyle counseling.  The most common therapeutic procedure performed by doctors of chiropractic is known as “spinal manipulation,” also called “chiropractic adjustment.”   The purpose of manipulation is to restore joint mobility by manually applying a controlled force into joints that have become restricted in their movement as a result of a tissue injury.
  • Massage therapy: Swedish massage is the most known of the massage styles. It utilizes light-to-moderate pressure and aims to calm the body and the mind.  Clinical massage therapy is a personalized treatment session for each person. Clinical massage therapy uses postural assessment, biomechanical analysis, trigger point treatment and deep tissue massage to functionally correct imbalances in the body.  Shiatsu massage which is a form of Japanese bodywork based on the theoretical framework of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  This eastern modality involves finger pressure and includes massage with fingers, thumbs, feet and palms and assisted stretching.  This is recommended for anyone with energy or blood blockages and is helpful for many conditions.
  • Reiki is a Japanese energetic technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
